Description

You will lead the design and development of distributed, multi-tier web applications across the full Java stack.

Responsibilities

• Perform hands-on software design and development in Java.
• Guide other engineers through technical design documents and peer code reviews.
• Work with management to determine feature feasibility and provide project estimates.
• Cross-train junior developers on implemented product features.
• Develop and execute unit tests to ensure high quality and scalability.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• In-depth knowledge of Java and Object-Oriented programming.
• Expertise in modern web applications built on distributed service architecture.
• Full-stack proficiency from client-side through the persistence layer.
• Experience with Spring MVC, jQuery, and jQuery-UI.
• Strong SQL, PL/SQL programming, and Oracle database experience.
• Experience with Java EE APIs including Servlets and JTA.
• Proven ability to build distributed, scalable, multi-threaded server applications.
• Background in enterprise-class systems with multi-tier architecture.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JEE 6, JPA, JAx-RS, JAx-WS, and JMS.
• Knowledge of data grid technologies like Infinispan or Ehcache.
• Experience with MyBatis, Maven, and Linux environments.
