Description

You will design and maintain low-latency, high-throughput electronic trading systems using core Java.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop core Java server-side applications for trading platforms.
• Implement multithreading, concurrency, and event-driven architectures.
• Build and optimize REST APIs using Spring Boot.
• Manage messaging systems like JMS and ActiveMQ.
• Ensure data integrity using SQL Server or Sybase.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with core Java (JDK 11/17).
• Strong background in low-latency, high-throughput trading applications.
• Deep understanding of multithreading and concurrency models.
• Experience with event-driven architecture.
• Hands-on expertise with Spring and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Proficiency in building REST APIs.
• Knowledge of messaging protocols (JMS/ActiveMQ).
• Database experience with SQL Server or Sybase.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to capital markets, derivatives, or RFQ workflows.
• Familiarity with trading platforms like Bloomberg, TradeWeb, or ION.
