Description

You will drive the development and maintenance of Java and J2EE application systems within the payments domain.

Responsibilities

• Develop application code for Java programs, ensuring designs follow specifications.
• Design, implement, and maintain various phases of Java applications.
• Convert business requirements into executable code solutions.
• Provide technical leadership to the team and resolve execution queries.
• Evaluate and identify new technologies for implementation.

Required Skills

• 8-16 years of experience in Java technologies.
• Experience in a payments domain.
• Proficiency in Core Java (Collections, Concurrency/Multi-threading, Localization, JDBC).
• Expertise in J2EE, Spring, Struts, Hibernate, and EJB.
• Experience with XML, JSP, HTML/DHTML, JavaScript, and Web Services.
• Knowledge of ANSI SQL and database concepts (Oracle/DB2).
• Experience with messaging using JMS.
• Proficiency in LINUX environments.
• Knowledge of at least one J2EE Application Server (WebSphere Process Server, WebLogic, or JBoss).

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of financial services industry and FIS products.
• Understanding of basic financial analysis principles and ratios.
