Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable insurance and financial applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java-based architectures using Spring Boot, Hibernate, and microservices.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs for claims processing and manage enterprise integration patterns.
• Lead and mentor a team of Java developers while conducting peer code reviews.
• Deploy applications across AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure environments.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to refine technical requirements.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of IT experience, preferably within investment banking or insurance.
• Expertise in Java, Spring, Hibernate, and RESTful APIs.
• Deep understanding of middleware, API Management, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
• Proficiency with messaging protocols such as JMS, Apache ActiveMQ, or Kafka.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, specifically SQL Server and Cosmos DB.
• Experience with security implementations including OAuth and JWT.
• Hands-on experience with build and release management tools like Git, Bamboo, or Jenkins.
• Competency in SOAP, XML, and API Management technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ESB tools such as MuleSoft or Apache Camel.
