Lead the design, development, and implementation of critical Java/J2EE applications and services.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect solutions prioritizing reliability, performance, security, and maintainability across banking platforms.
• Implement and maintain workflow-driven Java applications with RESTful services.
• Contribute to evolving application architecture aligned with enterprise principles.
• Develop high-quality code using software engineering and unit testing best practices.
• Troubleshoot and debug complex production issues with strong analytical skills.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of progressive experience in Java/J2EE development.
• Expertise in core Java and object-oriented design.
• Experience with Spring Framework, Kafka, Docker, and Kubernetes.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL database technologies.
• Familiarity with Agile and DevOps practices.
• Experience in medium to large enterprise projects, preferably financial services.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Websphere.
