Description

You will design, develop, and deploy scalable web applications and cloud-based services.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Propose and evaluate design options for web APIs, databases, and cloud components.
• Review code and implement high-quality code and tests following Agile and Lean principles.
• Collaborate with software architects on application deployment architecture, sizing, stability, and security.
• Own projects from requirement analysis through to execution, ensuring high standards of software quality.
• Develop reusable components and participate in architectural discussions to support scalable architecture.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience designing and deploying scalable web applications.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot.
• Experience building Microservices and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with AWS public cloud infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with modern web frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Proficiency in data structures (Stack, Queue, LinkedList) and algorithms.
• Experience with Behavior Driven Development (BDD) or Test Driven Development (TDD).
• Ability to work with globally distributed and multi-cultural teams.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Helm, and GitHub Actions.
• Familiarity with Datadog and virtualization or orchestration platforms.
• Experience developing regulated products under design control.
