Description

You will build and maintain Java-based applications in a remote capacity.

Responsibilities

• Develop Java applications using standard frameworks and tools.
• Collaborate with design teams to review backend architecture and optimize code for performance.
• Create and execute unit tests to ensure functional integrity.
• Utilize configuration management, build processes, and debuggers to follow development workflows.
• Participate in peer code reviews and design discussions to improve code performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of proven experience in Java 1.8.
• Strong expertise in JPA, Hibernate, and Spring AOP.
• Hands-on SQL programming experience with MySQL, MariaDB, Postgres SQL, or SQL Server.
• Experience designing, developing, and consuming web services using Spring REST API, JAx-RS, and JAx-WS.
• Proficiency with JUnit, Git/GitLab, and Maven.
• Deep understanding of Java Collections and APIs for writing complex code.
• Practical knowledge of Object Oriented Analysis and Design, Design Patterns, and SOA.
• Bachelor's degree in IT or Computer Science.
