You will lead the design, development, and testing of authentication integrations and complex system enhancements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate existing Java application authentication from Agency Active Directory to Commonwealth COV Active Directory using Okta for multi-factor authentication.
• Design, develop, and test complex programming enhancements and maintenance within the system development lifecycle.
• Provide technical leadership on system integration, transitions, and the implementation of new applications.
• Develop deployment plans, including back-out procedures and post-implementation testing, to protect system availability.
• Troubleshoot issues related to scalability, response times, security, and accessibility while mentoring other IT staff.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of senior-level Java development experience.
• Expertise in Spring and Spring MVC.
• Proficiency with Hibernate and JBOSS.
• Strong experience with SQL and PL/SQL for MSSQL databases.
• Hands-on experience using Eclipse, Maven, and Subversion.
• Ability to prepare technical documentation, including use cases, software requirements, and interface documents.
• Experience managing the full system development lifecycle (SDLC).
