Key Responsibilities

• Develop and deliver software code changes and technical documentation for the eXPRS application.
• Identify, troubleshoot, and remediate application defects and bugs.
• Work on operational, enhancement, performance, maintenance, refactoring, UI, data, and reporting requests.
• Participate in daily Scrum meetings, sprint planning, sprint reviews, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Work closely with business stakeholders and Product Owners to understand functional requirements.
• Collaborate with technical architects and technical leads to develop technical designs and solutions.
• Document solution options, system dependencies, impacted areas, and technical gaps.
• Perform code modifications, testing, debugging, and system enhancements.
• Prepare technical specifications covering database, interfaces, batch programs, and application modules.
• Provide regular sprint/status reports and demonstrate working prototypes.
• Follow Azure DevOps (ADOS) and established development, requirements-management, and issue-tracking processes.
• Support knowledge transfer and transition technical concepts and enhancements to existing team members.

Required Skills & Experience

Mandatory:

• 10+ years J2EE experience
• 10+ years Java experience
• 10+ years IBM DB2 UDB experience
• 10+ years Eclipse experience
• Prior State Government experience within the last 5 years
• 1–3 years of eXPRS Application Development experience

Preferred Candidate Profile

• Strong Senior/SME-level Java application development experience.
• Experience working with government or healthcare-related applications.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Experience with Azure DevOps (ADOS).
• Strong experience with application maintenance, enhancements, troubleshooting, and refactoring.
• Excellent communication and documentation skills.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and business stakeholders
