Description

Lead the design and implementation of scalable web services and microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement highly scalable RESTful services.
• Develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Apply Object-Oriented Design (OOD) and Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
• Write and maintain code with Java unit test frameworks.
• Manage version control and code workflows via GitHub.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong Java foundations, specifically Java 8 or Java 11.
• Expertise in Spring Boot for REST service development.
• Proven experience with microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with Amazon AWS.
• Proficiency with GitHub.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate-level education.

Preferred Skills

• AWS services including Route53 and API Gateway.
• Containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Full stack development experience and familiarity with NoSQL or RDBMS datastores.
