Description

You will lead the migration and modernization of legacy customer applications to MongoDB within small Agile teams.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design technical paths to migrate legacy application states to customer-defined MongoDB targets.
• Execute migration tasks using established playbooks while solving project-specific gaps.
• Participate in sprint grooming, planning, and showcases with technical suggestions.
• Collaborate with technical leads and project managers to identify and resolve challenges.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Enterprise Java architectures (J2EE, JavaEE, or Spring).
• Extensive experience building applications with relational databases and SQL.
• Proven history of delivering applications using Agile methodologies and test-first development.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines and Git version control.
• Any graduate degree.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of microservices architectures and Domain-Driven Design (DDD).
• Experience with Python, JavaScript, or Node.js.
• Familiarity with ORMs such as Hibernate or JPA.
