Description

You will design, develop, and maintain enterprise-grade applications using Java and the Spring Framework. You will own the implementation of real-time data streaming and messaging via Apache Kafka. You will deploy and manage containerized workloads on on-premises Elastic Kubernetes Service (EKS) clusters. You will collaborate with DevOps teams to implement CI/CD pipelines for these containerized environments. You will optimize application performance and scalability within distributed systems and troubleshoot issues across applications, data pipelines, and orchestration layers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain applications using Java and Spring Framework.
• Manage Cloudera ecosystem for big data processing and management.
• Implement Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture and data streaming.
• Deploy and manage containerized applications on on-premises EKS clusters.
• Ensure security, compliance, and best practices across all deployments.

Required Skills

• 8–12 years of experience in enterprise application development.
• Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Framework (Spring Boot preferred).
• Hands-on experience with Cloudera and big data technologies.
• Expertise in Apache Kafka for event-driven architecture.
• Experience with on-premises EKS or Kubernetes-based container orchestration.
• Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker), and microservices architecture.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills in distributed systems.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to cloud-native technologies and hybrid deployments.
• Knowledge of security best practices for containerized environments.
