Description

You will design, develop, and implement high-quality backend applications and microservices within an agile environment, owning the release pipeline and ensuring high coding standards.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using Java and Spring Boot, building reusable frameworks for REST APIs.
• Configure and automate AWS infrastructure including S3, ECS, ASG, ELB, ALB, EC2, and VPC subnets.
• Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Docker across Dev, QA, UAT, and Production environments.
• Implement automated testing using JUnit and ATDD with Gherkin and Cucumber.
• Monitor application health and AWS services using Amazon CloudWatch and manage access via IAM.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases.
• Strong knowledge of RESTful web services and API design.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services (S3, ECS, EC2, IAM, VPC, CloudWatch).
• Experience with Tomcat and containerization using Docker.
• Proficiency in Jenkins for CI/CD pipeline automation.
• Experience with front-end technologies including JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
• Ability to write shell scripts for Linux automation and backups.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ATDD using Gherkin and Cucumber.
• Background in managing complex VPC network architectures.
