Description

You will develop, maintain, and evolve software within the SAP Concur Analytics team using modern programming languages and development environments.

Responsibilities

• Code, modify, and maintain programs while investigating product issues and analyzing code to resolve bugs.
• Design application features and enhancements following security by design principles.
• Develop against database systems, including managing schemas, stored procedures, views, and functions.
• Participate in code and design reviews, mentor junior developers, and implement DevOps and SRE best practices.
• Maintain continuous integration using zero-downtime deployments, canaries, and feature-flag-driven development.
• Own delivery against technical and functional product roadmap items and comply with global security mandates.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Java frameworks such as Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in Python, Ansible, and Shell Script.
• Strong experience with SQL and NoSQL stores.
• Experience with container ecosystems including Docker, Helm, and Kubernetes.
• Experience with AWS primitives such as EC2 and AMIs.
• Engineering degree in Computer Science or an equivalent technical discipline.
• Excellent English communication skills for international collaboration.
• Ability to solve complex problems through in-depth data and situational evaluation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with SQL optimization.
• Experience with cloud platform application development.
