Description

Design and develop enterprise-level Java applications and custom integration solutions for healthcare systems. You will own the technical architecture, code quality, and delivery of complex business rule engines.

Responsibilities

• Design and maintain enterprise applications using Java/J2EE, Angular, PostgreSQL, Corticon Rules Engine, and MongoDB.
• Translate business requirements into formal technical requirements, rules, and application code.
• Lead the development of programming standards, architectures for code reuse, and technical design recommendations.
• Execute unit testing and integration plans to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.
• Perform code reviews and quality analysis for all developed solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience designing, developing, or supporting enterprise IT platforms and applications.
• 6+ years of experience developing State-based marketplace (SBM) solutions, Health and Human Service systems, or ACA-related healthcare systems.
• 6+ years of experience architecting healthcare applications in Java with complex business rules engine integration.
• 4+ years of experience leading a team of developers.
• Experience with n-tier architectures including UI, Business Logic, and Data Access layers.
• Proficiency with Eclipse IDE, SVN/GIT, and REST Services.
• Strong knowledge of SOA, web services internals, and Java design patterns.
• Experience working within Agile software development practices.
• Proven analytical and debugging skills.

Preferred Skills

• 10+ years of experience designing and integrating complex public-facing applications.
• 5+ years of experience developing complex SQL queries in PostgreSQL.
• 5+ years of front-end integration experience working with development and business teams.
