Description

Build and maintain scalable backend applications and distributed systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-performance REST APIs and microservices using Java.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, and reliability in production.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on architecture discussions and code reviews.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend development.
• Strong expertise in Core Java and Spring Boot / Spring Framework.
• Proven experience building REST APIs and Microservices.
• Experience with Distributed Systems and enterprise application architectures.
• Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases.
• Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines, Git, and Agile methodologies.
• Strong debugging and performance optimization skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and messaging systems.
