Description

You will design, develop, and maintain microservices-based applications using Java 21 and the Spring ecosystem.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain REST and SOAP APIs using Spring Boot, Spring JDBC, Spring Security, and Spring Batch.
• Develop microservices architecture with Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) principles.
• Implement SQL queries, OAuth tokens, and handle XML/WSDL integrations.
• Collaborate with Quality and Production Engineers to troubleshoot, resolve vulnerabilities, and manage deployments.
• Perform root cause analysis (RCA) for operational issues and manage day-to-day application health.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience with Java (specifically Java 21) and open-source technologies.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Batch, and Spring Transaction Management.
• Hands-on experience building REST and SOAP APIs.
• Familiarity with JSON, XML, WSDL, and SOA patterns.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins and build tools like Maven.
• Proficiency with IDEs such as IntelliJ or Eclipse.
• Knowledge of AWS cloud services and relational SQL databases.
• Understanding of Agile methodologies and JIRA for issue tracking.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Apache Tomcat and JBOSS servers.
• Proven ability to address application code vulnerabilities and security best practices.
