Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable software applications using Java and the Spring Boot framework in Tampa, FL.

Responsibilities

• Architect software solutions and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
• Build and integrate RESTful APIs and web services with third-party systems and databases.
• Optimize application performance by addressing bottlenecks in database queries and API calls.
• Conduct code reviews and collaborate with QA teams to ensure software quality.
• Mentor junior developers through technical guidance and knowledge sharing.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java development with a focus on Spring Boot.
• Strong command of Java core concepts, OOP principles, and design patterns.
• Experience developing RESTful APIs using Spring Boot and Spring MVC.
• Proficiency with database technologies including MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with API integration and data exchange.
• Proven ability to debug complex technical issues and resolve software defects.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or a related field.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with front-end technologies including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
