Description

You will design, construct, and test software components within a global banking environment.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with Business Analysts and SMEs to perform detailed requirements analysis.
• Own the design, construction, and unit testing of assigned modules and components.
• Perform technical reviews and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and manage communication with offshore teams.
• Manage overall deliverables and proactively highlight project risks.

Required Skills

• 8 to 10+ years of experience in Java development.
• In-depth knowledge of Core Java, Java EE, and Spring Boot.
• Experience with Spring Microservices architecture and design patterns.
• Hands-on expertise in RESTful web services and event-based architecture using JMS.
• Profound understanding of Java/JEE internals, including class loading, memory management, and transaction management.
• Strong experience with multithreading and concurrency.
• Proficiency with ORM technologies including Hibernate and JPA.
• Experience with Relational Databases, specifically Oracle and SQL.
• Competency with Eclipse or IntelliJ and Unix-based operating systems.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Python and PySpark within a Big Data environment.
