Description

Senior backend engineer designing and developing microservices and APIs.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and configure applications to meet specific business processes.
• Develop and maintain software solutions using Java and Spring Boot.
• Write clean, maintainable code that adheres to established project standards.
• Test and debug applications to ensure performance and security requirements.
• Optimize application performance and troubleshoot technical issues.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in Java development.
• Strong proficiency with Spring Boot and Spring Batch.
• Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs in microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with React for frontend development.
• Proficiency with Azure, Docker, and UNIX environments.
• Experience working within Agile Pods.
• Working knowledge of JIRA, Jenkins, GIT, and Bitbucket.
• Background in tuning WebSphere (WAS) configurations and IBM HTTP Server.
• Degree in any graduate field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with IBM HTTP Server configuration.
