Description

You will design, build, and maintain enterprise application integrations using Java and microservices architecture. You own the full development lifecycle, from coding and testing to deployment and production support.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and integrate REST and SOAP services using Spring Boot or Apache Camel.
• Design event-driven microservices using Confluent Kafka or Apache ActiveMQ.
• Manage API gateways, specifically Apigee or equivalent platforms.
• Ensure code quality through test-driven development and automated test suite maintenance.
• Troubleshoot production incidents and implement fixes for existing software products.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience with Java and SQL.
• Proficiency in REST- and SOAP-based service development.
• Experience with Spring Boot or Apache Camel frameworks.
• Knowledge of microservices architecture and APIGEE.
• Familiarity with Confluent Kafka or Apache ActiveMQ.
• Understanding of containerization with Docker, Kubernetes, or Rancher.
• Experience with AWS Cloud infrastructure.
• Knowledge of database utilities like JHipster or Liquibase.
• Experience with AI coding assistants such as GitHub Copilot.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Istio service mesh.
• Background in enterprise application integration teams.
