Design, develop, and maintain high-performance applications in a distributed environment.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop highly scalable asynchronous systems and RESTful services.
• Process large datasets efficiently within the Java ecosystem.
• Collaborate with team leads and test engineers to clarify requirements and validate code via PR comments.
• Participate in daily scrum meetings and Agile ceremonies.
• Work with cross-functional and IST teams to deliver product updates.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant software engineering experience.
• 5+ years of Java development with deep knowledge of core concepts and OOP principles.
• Extensive experience with Spring Boot and the Spring Framework.
• Mastery of Java concurrency and multithreading.
• Proven expertise in designing scalable asynchronous systems.
• Experience with relational database systems, specifically Postgres.
• Proficiency with AWS cloud services.
• Experience using JUnit for testing and Maven or Gradle for build automation.
• Skill in performance monitoring and profiling using VisualVM, YourKit, or Java Flight Recorder.
• Proficiency with Git version control.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
