Description

Key Responsibilities

* Design, develop, test, deploy, and support Java/J2EE applications supporting HealthRules Payer (HRP).
* Develop custom services and integrations between HRP and internal/external healthcare applications.
* Build and maintain REST/SOAP APIs, web services, microservices, and batch-processing solutions.
* Develop Java-based components supporting claims, enrollment, eligibility, benefits, providers, pricing, accumulators, and payment workflows.
* Support HRP integration with EDI platforms, provider networks, data warehouses, portals, financial systems, and other payer applications.
* Participate in analysis and troubleshooting of HRP production issues, including claims processing and integration failures.
* Perform root-cause analysis and implement permanent fixes for production defects.
* Develop solutions for high-volume healthcare transaction processing.
* Work with relational databases and develop complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and data-validation scripts.
* Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise development and security standards.
* Develop automated unit and integration tests using frameworks such as JUnit and Mockito.
* Work within Agile/Scrum teams and participate in sprint planning, refinement, daily stand-ups, demos, and retrospectives.
* Collaborate with QA teams to support SIT, regression testing, UAT, and production validation.
* Create and maintain technical design documents, API specifications, deployment documentation, and operational support procedures
