Description

You will develop and support modern web and data solutions, focusing on back-end and API layers. You will implement secure, scalable Java solutions within Agile environments.

Responsibilities

• Implement Java solutions using Java 1.8+ and Spring Boot microservices.
• Develop REST-based web services and APIs using Open API Specification.
• Write and maintain unit tests using JUnit and Mockito.
• Ensure secure software development through debugging and tools like Sonar or Veracode.
• Collaborate within Agile Scrum or Kanban environments across multi-functional teams.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of software development experience with a focus on Java.
• 5+ years of experience with Spring technologies, including 2+ years of Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of relational database experience with SQL Server or Oracle.
• 2+ years of experience with AWS Lambda functions.
• 2+ years of experience with Mockito and 5+ years with JUnit testing.
• 2+ years of experience in the Banking or Financial Services industry.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including Jenkins, GIT, Maven, and Concourse.
• Working knowledge of UI frameworks such as React or Angular.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JIRA and Agile tools.
• Experience with top-down development of REST APIs.
