Description

Build and maintain large-scale distributed systems using Java and modern streaming architectures. You will own the backend lifecycle from design to deployment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop scalable backend services using Java and Spring frameworks.
• Build and manage real-time data pipelines using Kafka, Flink, and Kafka Streams.
• Deploy and manage cloud-native applications within AWS environments.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and microservices architectures.
• Maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software delivery.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of professional Java development experience.
• Proficiency with Spring frameworks and Kafka messaging platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Big Data and streaming platforms including Flink and Kafka Streams.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, EKS, EMR, Lambda, and S3.
• Working knowledge of containers, microservices, and RESTful interfaces.
• Operating system expertise in Unix, Linux, and Windows.
• Proficiency with Git and CI tools like Jenkins or TeamCity.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience.
