Description

You will develop, maintain, and re-engineer enterprise web and batch applications within the Java ecosystem.

Responsibilities

• Debug complex full-stack application issues and optimize performance.
• Configure and manage application servers including JBoss, WAS, WASCE, and Wildfly.
• Containerize web and batch processes using Docker.
• Manage database schemas and execute DML and DDL operations.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines using GitLab and maintain build configurations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of Core Java experience, covering collections, threading, IO, and RMI.
• Deep expertise in J2EE, JSP, Servlets, EJB, and Struts 1.3+.
• Strong knowledge of Spring, MVC, JDBC, Hibernate, and JPA.
• Proficiency with Maven and Gradle build tools.
• Experience with SCM tools including SVN and GitLab CI/CD.
• Hands-on SQL experience with Oracle, Postgres, or MySQL.
• Familiarity with Node.js and Angular (JS or 2+).
• Ability to work in Unix/Linux environments using scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Cloud migration experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP (GCP preferred).
• Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, Nexus, and Artifactory.
