Description

You will design, develop, maintain, and enhance highly available and secure payment systems in Warsaw, Poland.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, highly available payment services.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems to ensure stability.
• Structure and solve complex technical problems independently.
• Apply critical thinking to system design and technological trade-offs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Proficiency with JUnit for testing.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Cassandra, or Aka.
• Competency with Gitlab for CI/CD and version control.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with electronic payment systems.
• Affinity for operational concerns.
