Description

You will design, develop, and maintain secure, highly available payment systems in Warsaw, Poland.

You will own the full lifecycle of payment services, ensuring stability and applying critical thinking to technical trade-offs and system architecture.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure, highly available payment services.
• Maintain and enhance existing systems to ensure operational stability.
• Structure and solve complex technical problems independently.
• Apply critical thinking to system design and technological trade-offs.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and the Spring Framework.
• Solid foundation in Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Proficiency with JUnit for testing.
• Experience with relational databases, specifically Oracle.
• Hands-on experience with Kafka, Cassandra, or Aka.
• Competency with Gitlab for CI/CD and version control.
• Working knowledge of Linux environments.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with electronic payment systems.
• Affinity for operational concerns.
