Description

You will develop and maintain web service applications using Java and JavaScript frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain server-side web service applications using Java and Apache Tomcat.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues within existing web service architectures.
• Implement Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) patterns to support business requirements.
• Manage code and build processes using Maven, SVN, and Jenkins.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on development experience with Java, Spring, and Hibernate.
• 2+ years of development experience with JavaScript, jQuery, and Backbone.js.
• 2+ years of experience working in Agile development environments.
• Strong experience with REST and SOAP web services.
• Proficiency with Oracle databases and SQL.
• Experience with build and deployment tools including Maven, Nexus, Jenkins, and SVN.
• Technical familiarity with TcServer, Clear Quest, and Mockito.
• Ability to work with XML and JSON data formats.
• Experience using Eclipse for development.

Preferred Skills

• General mortgage industry knowledge.
