Description

You will design, develop, and implement Java/J2EE applications independently across the full software development life cycle.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute enhancements, new projects, and bug fixes for Java/J2EE applications.
• Develop and optimize PL/SQL queries and database archiving strategies using IBM Optim.
• Manage large volume datasets while ensuring compliance and risk mitigation.
• Implement web services and REST APIs to support application functionality.
• Collaborate with teams to deliver software using unit and integration testing methodologies.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java and J2EE technologies.
• Expertise in Spring, Struts, and JDBC.
• Strong PL/SQL programming skills with experience optimizing Oracle Server queries.
• Proficiency with jQuery, JavaScript, HTML, and XML/JSON.
• Experience building Web APIs, Web Services, and REST APIs.
• Hands-on experience with IBM Optim for large-scale data archiving.
• Working knowledge of GitHub and SCM tools.
• Experience with C/C# and SQL Server.
• Solid understanding of software testing methodologies and test scripting.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Microservices development.
• Experience with web frameworks such as Angular or React.
• Familiarity with Big Data and financial domain data.
