Description

You will own backend development, message streaming, and observability pipelines for containerized services.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services using Java.
• Implement and manage message streaming using Kafka and MSK.
• Configure log shipping and monitoring pipelines within containerized environments.
• Manage data ingestion and observability using ELK, Logstash, and Splunk.

Required Skills

• 6-10 years of professional Java development experience.
• Hands-on experience with message brokers including Kafka and MSK.
• Proficiency with ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana) and Splunk.
• Experience with log collection tools such as FluentD or FluentBit.
• Knowledge of log libraries including log4j, logback, or log4net.
• Practical experience with log shipping in Kubernetes, RedHat OpenShift, or Amazon EKS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with FluentBit.
• Familiarity with log4net.
