Description

You will build and maintain cloud-native microservices and data pipelines within a highly automated infrastructure in Stamford, CT.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain microservices for cloud deployment.
• Design, implement, and optimize data pipelines using Kafka and event streaming.
• Partner with solution architects to drive the deployment of strategic solutions and contribute to the architecture roadmap.
• Guide implementation teams to ensure successful delivery of high-performing IT solutions.
• Write secure, stable, and performant code while increasing team release frequency.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of commercial experience as a Java Developer.
• Strong core Java knowledge with a focus on backend development.
• Proficiency in Kafka and event streaming/messaging systems.
• Experience building cloud-native applications and services.
• Ability to implement automated testing.
• Experience with SQL.
• Proven track record of delivering high-performing IT solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience within the finance sector.
