Description

Design and maintain data streaming applications and backend components for web applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop microservices using the Spring Boot framework.
• Build backend components, APIs, and data solutions.
• Connect microservices to databases and manage data integration.
• Debug, test, and maintain software throughout the full SDLC.
• Manage releases and provide post-deployment support.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience building and optimizing data streaming solutions.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot.
• Advanced SQL skills for database interaction.
• Deep understanding of streaming technologies, specifically Kafka or GCP Pub/Sub.
• Experience working with complex data integration projects.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate level education.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with GCP services including BigQuery and Cloud Storage.
• Scripting proficiency in Python or PowerShell.
• Familiarity with CI/CD, DevOps tools, and Agile/Scrum environments.
