Description

You will design, develop, and implement scalable microservice-based platforms while leading a technical team in Woodland, CA.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and implementation of microservices using Java and Spring Boot.
• Drive team progress toward sprint goals within an agile environment.
• Conduct design and code reviews to ensure high-quality, zero-defect deliverables.
• Provide technical guidance to team members regarding requirements and estimations.
• Apply TDD, CI/CD practices, and coding standards to maintain production stability.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience building microservices using Java.
• Expertise in Core Java, including Collections, Threads, Regular Expressions, and Exception handling.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Docker.
• Proficiency with Spring Data, Hibernate, JPA, or iBATIS.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and GQL.
• Working knowledge of Kafka and JMS environments (RabbitMQ or ActiveMQ).
• Experience with relational databases like MySQL or Oracle, or NoSQL databases like MongoDB.
• Proficiency with Splunk, Docker, and SQL.
• Experience with Cloud Foundry (PCF) or AWS.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with API gateways such as Apigee.
• Knowledge of AWS, Jenkins, Bamboo, Node.js, or Python scripting.
