Description

You will drive the modernization and architectural evolution of legacy Java EE systems. This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Analyze legacy Java EE components, including EJB, JPA, and SOAP services, to inform architectural decisions.
• Participate in application rationalization and define the modernization roadmap.
• Conduct technical walkthroughs to document system behavior, dependencies, and integration points.
• Migrate legacy systems towards microservices, API-driven, and cloud-native architectures.
• Identify technical debt, design patterns, and architectural gaps within existing applications.

Required Skills

• 15+ years of hands-on experience in Java and Java EE development.
• Deep experience with EJB, JPA, and SOAP services on enterprise application servers.
• Proven ability to analyze and modernize complex legacy Java EE systems.
• Experience integrating persistence layers with enterprise business logic.
• Familiarity with AI code analysis tools for static analysis and pattern recognition.
• Experience with cloud-native transformation, including microservices, APIs, and containerization.
• Strong understanding of software design principles and patterns.
• Experience with DevSecOps, automated testing, and deployment frameworks.
• Proficiency in Agile methodologies and requirements elicitation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AI-driven code analysis for static analysis and pattern recognition.
