Description

You will build and maintain enterprise applications using Java and Drools.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Build and support web services and enterprise applications.
• Plan, develop, oversee, execute, and certify changes using rigorous test plans.
• Prepare software for deployment to production environments.
• Resolve issues logged by users of a live system.
• Manage small projects independently and contribute to larger team initiatives.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in Java, including core Java and Web Services.
• 5 years of experience with Drools, Red Hat Business Rules Management System, or similar rules engines.
• 5 years of experience using Git and Maven.
• Experience with AWS for cloud-based development and deployment.
• Experience with JBoss Application Server and SQL.
• Experience developing using VS Code.
• Experience working in Linux environments.
• Experience with Agile methodologies and BDD/TDD practices using JUnit.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with JBPM or other process automation engines.
