Description

Build and maintain enterprise web services and applications using Java and Drools, owning the release pipeline from development to production.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and support web services and enterprise applications using Java and Drools/Red Hat BRMS.
• Manage small projects independently and contribute to larger team initiatives.
• Plan, execute, and certify changes by establishing rigorous test plans and tracking results.
• Prepare software for deployment to production environments using AWS.
• Resolve questions and issues logged by users of live systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in core Java and Web Services.
• 5+ years of experience with Drools, Red Hat Business Rules Management System, or other rules engines.
• Experience with JBoss Application Server.
• 5+ years of experience with Git and Maven.
• Proficiency in JUnit for BDD/TDD practices.
• Experience working in Linux environments with VS Code.
• Experience with AWS for cloud-based development and deployment.
• Experience with SQL.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in JBPM or other process automation engines.
