Description

Technical lead and Scrum Master for a cloud-based Counterparty Data platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Build efficient storage and search functions for structured and unstructured data.
• Develop user-driven prototypes to evaluate technical options and architectural approaches.
• Lead distributed teams as a Scrum Master to ensure rapid delivery of working code.
• Implement DevOps practices including CI/CD, test automation, and test-driven development.
• Design and build high-performance, low-latency distributed systems.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience developing high-quality Java solutions.
• Proficiency in Java 8+, Scala, and Python.
• Experience with Kafka and event-driven systems.
• Hands-on experience with Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Expertise with MongoDB and relational SQL databases.
• Experience with Azure/AWS, Kubernetes, and Docker.
• Practical knowledge of Jenkins, Gradle, and Git.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools like Prometheus and Grafana.

Preferred Skills

• Familiarity with profiling, code efficiency, and "docs as code" using Markdown and Git.
