Description

You will own backend system development, API delivery, and technical leadership for the engineering team.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain scalable backend systems and RESTful APIs using Java and Spring Boot.
• Conduct code reviews, enforce coding standards, and drive performance optimization and quality assurance.
• Evaluate technical alternatives, architecture best practices, and conduct risk assessments.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, objectives, and deliverables.
• Participate in SCRUM sessions and adhere to Agile development workflows.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on experience in Java backend and API development.
• Expertise in Java and Spring Boot frameworks.
• Strong understanding of OOD, OOA, and OOP principles.
• Experience developing Web Services using SOAP and RESTful calls.
• Proficiency with relational databases including Oracle, DB2, and SQL Server.
• Experience with NoSQL databases such as MongoDB and Cassandra.
• Background in Microservices and API development.
• Ability to work on-site in Irving, TX.
