Description

You will build and maintain scalable backend services using Java and Spring Boot in a hybrid Seattle, WA role.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and scale services using Java 8 and Spring Boot.
• Deploy and manage applications using Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes, EKS, or Red Hat.
• Design and implement APIs following HTTP/REST standards and OpenAPI documentation.
• Write and maintain automated tests using frameworks such as JBehave, Cucumber, Selenium, or JUnit.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience.
• 6+ years of experience with Java 8.
• 4+ years of experience with Spring Boot.
• 3+ years of experience with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes, EKS, or Red Hat).
• Strong understanding of HTTP/REST and OpenAPI documentation.
• Hands-on experience with testing frameworks (JBehave, Cucumber, Selenium, or JUnit).
• Experience working within Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent engineering experience.
