Description

You will design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for secure transaction processing in payment systems.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Java-based applications using Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, PayPal, Adyen) managing authorization, settlement, and reconciliation.
• Develop and maintain high-performance RESTful APIs ensuring security and scalability.
• Collaborate with product, QA, and DevOps teams to troubleshoot production issues.
• Ensure application compliance with PCI standards for payment processing workflows.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience with Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
• Hands-on experience with payment gateway integrations and payment processing workflows.
• Strong proficiency in developing RESTful APIs and working with JSON.
• Experience with relational databases: MySQL, PostgreSQL, or Oracle.
• Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control using Git.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms, preferably AWS.
• Knowledge of application security, performance optimization, and scalability.

Preferred Skills

• Experience in the retail or eCommerce domain.
• Familiarity with messaging systems like Kafka.
• Knowledge of containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
