Description

You will develop cloud-native microservices and applications on Google Cloud Platform, owning end-to-end delivery from code to production.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop elegant, high-performance Java code and custom database capabilities with limited oversight.
• Own end-to-end application delivery, coordinating with teams for production deployment.
• Build and deploy components as part of the CI/CD process.
• Monitor application health and KPIs, performing root cause analysis for complex issues.
• Maintain quality through unit testing, code reviews, and adherence to security best practices.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java/J2EE and Spring frameworks (Core, MVC, Boot).
• 2+ years of experience working with Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and cloud APIs.
• Experience building REST APIs and cloud-native applications.
• Proficiency with JPA or other ORM technologies.
• Experience with Spring Security.
• Knowledge of relational databases such as Oracle or PostgreSQL.
• Hands-on experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito, or JBehave.
• Experience with build and CI/CD tools including Gradle, Maven, and Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• GCP certification.
