Description

Design and implement scalable Java backend solutions, owning features from concept through deployment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Architect and develop Java-based backend systems using Spring Boot and Microservices.
• Own the full lifecycle of features, delivering high-quality code with minimal supervision.
• Evaluate and select appropriate technologies and architectural patterns for complex problems.
• Integrate AI-powered tools like GitHub Copilot and Claude to enhance development productivity.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to translate requirements into working solutions.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of hands-on backend development experience with Java.
• Strong proficiency in Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
• Proven track record in software design, system architecture, and end-to-end implementation.
• Practical experience using AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Claude) in the SDLC.
• Understanding of AI/ML concepts, including Agentic AI, workflows, and AI agents.
• Strong system design capabilities and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently in ambiguous environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience developing AI/ML solutions or building proof-of-concepts.
• Hands-on experience with AWS and Databricks.
