Description

You will own the analysis, design, build, and rollout of software development activities for the SCOR Closeout Form project.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Enhance enterprise Java applications by adding features and remediating code to meet modern security and supportability standards.
• Develop RESTful service-oriented solutions using the Java/J2EE stack and Angular UI frameworks.
• Support application enhancements, defect corrections, and root cause analysis across multiple environments.
• Perform coding, testing, peer reviews, and maintain all required technical documentation.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in Object Oriented Programming (OOP) using Java/J2EE with MVC, Spring, Struts, or Hibernate.
• 8+ years of experience developing Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular, AngularJS, jQuery, or Ajax.
• 8+ years of experience building RESTful web services on the Spring platform.
• 8+ years of experience writing SQL and PL/SQL for relational databases including Oracle or MS SQL.
• 8+ years of experience working within Agile software development methodologies.
• 8+ years of experience developing web applications using WebSphere Application Server.
• Ability to provide on-call support as required.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of reporting tools such as Crystal Reports or Business Objects.
