Description

You will lead the end-to-end development lifecycle of Java-based applications in a hybrid environment in Virginia.

Responsibilities

• Own the full development lifecycle from initial analysis through deployment and post-production defect fixing.
• Design and develop scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Implement microservices architectures using Docker, OpenShift, and Kubernetes.
• Build and maintain code delivery pipelines using Maven, Gradle, Jenkins, or Shell scripts.
• Apply TDD, BDD, and static code analysis to ensure delivery quality.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of overall professional experience.
• 5+ years of experience in application design and development using Java and Spring Boot.
• Proficiency in SQL and RDBMS.
• Experience with Microservices architecture and Docker containerization.
• Hands-on experience with OpenShift (OCP 4.x) or Kubernetes.
• Experience integrating services via RESTful Web Services and EJB.
• Working knowledge of Agile or Scaled Agile environments.
• Experience with version control using Bitbucket.
• Familiarity with build tools including Maven, Gradle, ANT, or Jenkins.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Angular, Node.js, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
• Working knowledge of MongoDB and MQL.
• Experience with ELK stack, JUnit, and JSON.
