Description

Design and develop large-scale, heavy-data applications using Java, microservices, and AWS event-based architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement cloud-based solutions using AWS event-driven architecture.
• Build and maintain microservices using Spring Boot, REST, and GraphQL.
• Develop data processing pipelines using Java, Python, and Spark.
• Manage containerized workloads using Kubernetes and the ELK stack.
• Own technical non-functional requirements including security, transactions, and performance.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in Java 8+, J2EE, and Spring Boot.
• Extensive experience with AWS services including S3, Lambda, Step Functions, AMQ, SNS, SQS, and CloudWatch.
• Strong background in Big Data and heavy data processing.
• Proficiency with Python, Spark, and Java/Python Spark integration.
• Hands-on expertise with Kubernetes and ELK (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana).
• Experience with NoSQL databases, specifically MongoDB.
• Solid understanding of ORM frameworks like JPA and Hibernate.
• Experience with DevOps toolchains including Jenkins, Artifactory, Maven/Gradle, and Git/BitBucket.
• Practical application of TDD/ATDD methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Frontend experience with Angular or ReactJS.
• Experience with OAuth via Ping Identity, Apigee, or Istio service mesh.
