Description

You will maintain and enhance backend and web-based applications, contributing to the evolution of a trading platform and its web user interfaces.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and implement backend services and web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with React-based UI components.
• Break down user stories into technical tasks and deliver within agreed timelines in an Agile environment.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimize application performance and stability.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code, participating in technical design discussions and code reviews.

Required Skills

• Strong Java fundamentals (Java 21 preferred), including collections, concurrency, and memory management.
• Experience with Spring Framework (Spring 4+) and Spring Boot 3.x.
• Proficiency in building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience with React (version 17) and client-server communication.
• Knowledge of SQL and relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL).
• Proficiency with Git, Maven/Gradle, and Linux/Unix environments.
• 4–8+ years of software engineering experience.
• Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with JSF/JSP applications and legacy UI technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems.
• Knowledge of financial systems or trading platforms.
