Description

Lead technical design and development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems while remaining hands-on.

Responsibilities

• Lead technical design and development for multi-platform application systems.
• Mentor junior software engineers and provide functional leadership.
• Collaborate with architects, product managers, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.
• Write high-quality code with a focus on automated testing and validation.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines and perform performance tuning, monitoring, and production support.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in software development with a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 6+ years of experience building high-volume, high-transaction Java applications.
• 6+ years of experience developing web applications using Java, Spring, and REST.
• Expertise in asynchronous message processing, stream processing, and event-driven computing.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux command line.
• Experience working within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban environments.
• Knowledge of HTML5, JavaScript frameworks, and CSS3.
• Competency in AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• 4+ years of experience in microservices architecture and system design.
• 4+ years of experience coaching and mentoring engineers in a leadership capacity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar.
