Description

Lead technical design and hands-on development of cross-functional, multi-platform application systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build high-volume, high-transaction Java applications with a focus on automated testing.
• Manage CI/CD pipelines, performance tuning, monitoring, and production support.
• Mentor junior engineers and provide functional leadership within Agile, Scrum, or Kanban teams.
• Collaborate with architects and product managers to define technical requirements and system design.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of software development experience; Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6+ years building high-volume Java applications using Spring and REST.
• Expertise in asynchronous message processing, stream processing, and event-driven computing.
• Proficiency in Unix/Linux command line and web technologies (HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3).
• Competency in cloud and containerization tools: AWS, Azure, OpenStack, Docker, Kubernetes, Ansible, or Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• 4+ years of experience in microservices architecture and system design.
• 4+ years of experience coaching and mentoring engineers in a leadership capacity.
• Experience with CI/CD tools including GitHub, Maven, Jenkins, and Sonar.
