Responsibilities

• Design and implement server-side technical solutions following architectural guidelines and industry standards.
• Own high-complexity requirements from origination through implementation with minimal architectural support.
• Socialize proposed solutions to gain approval before deployment.
• Develop, test, and support system applications in Agile environments.
• Mentor junior developers and lead by example within the team.

Required Skills

• 5 years of professional experience in systems application development with server-side expertise.
• Proficiency in Java, JSON, and XML.
• Extensive experience with Web Service application development.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with relational databases.
• Expertise using Git for version control.
• Experience working in Linux and Windows environments.
• Strong command-line interface and scripting skills.
• Experience with automated unit testing.
• Proven ability to work within Agile methodologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Python, AWS cloud technologies, Spring, and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of NoSQL databases.
• Experience with automated functional testing methods.
